VMR is great, and I'd like to have the new flavor of the month stuff for bragging rights but. It's not like VMR came out and made the UA stuff sound bad. Pultec and a few other goodies that overlap.

I considered grabbing VMR with the killer $149 sale they had going. Kind of a no brainer there, and it sounds great so I'm sure the rest of VMR does as well. I must test vmr, but I really cant live without UA 1176, LA2A and Massive Passive I'm with you. Ok, so I will continue with my UAD plugins

Neve 33609, Sonnox Inflator, Ocean Way Studios, Shadow Hills Mastering Comp, API 500 Series EQs, Fatso and Chandler GAV-19T Amp, EMT 140/250 RMX16, etc. Some will say one is better than the other, but I am more so wondering if there will be uses for both, or if I should just stick with the Slate/Soundtoys stuff for now, and perhaps go for some UAD stuff I don't have similar things to: i.e. While we're at it, I also just got the Soundtoys Bundle and am wondering if Culture Vulture will be redundant with Decapitator, and if Cooper Time Cube, Echoplex, RE-201 will be redundant with Echoboy? I'm also interested in UAD stuff but don't want to be redundant with my purchases.
